Qtel Mobile Email Corporate Edition is a server-based software that is installed inside the corporate firewall and integrates with either Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Domino.

Starting from 7.Sep.2009 Qtel will place five new Mobile Internet Packs ( 50MB, 250MB, 1GB, 3GB, Unlimited ) for shahry customers only.

The service falls under the GPRS Mobinet Product Line, the current Mobinet 20 package, which provide 2MB for 20 Q.R will no longer be avaiable.

The New Internet Packages are as followed :

Customer will receive SMS when he reaches 80% of usage and 100% of usage.

The speed of Mobile Internet is upto 7.2 Mbps, but customer will likely get between 512 Kbps and 2 Mbps.

What is the Mobile Internet Service:
This service allows both GSM postpaid and Hala prepaid customers from browsing the internet from their mobiles. Customers can use this service by entering the "WEB" icon from the menu, but the mobile must support GPRS. If the handset is 3G enabled then the customer can use internet that is up to 8 times faster than normal GPRS technology but the customer must be within 3G coverage.

How to Subscribe to Mobile Internet Service:
The service is already added for both GSM postpaid (Shahry) and Hala prepaid but customers must configure their mobiles by sending SMS with the word "all" to 2072 and then saving message received

Note:
To activate the themes and pictures that are installed from the news paper, send text message to 92072 containing “all”. Customer will then receive sms which they must save. For any inquires about these service call the number of these companies that is written in the new paper
* This service will not enable Mobile Email service which is on I-phone.

What is the Subscription and Usage Fees of Mobile Internet Service:
There are no monthly or activation fees, the customer only pays for usage "data downloaded or sites browsed":
1 Dirham for every 1 kilobyte "almost 1 QR for every 100kb"

How to Terminate the Mobile Internet Service:
In the instance where the customer does not want to use the service they can delete the access point from the saved settings
Menu -> Settings -> Call Settings -> Access Points -> then delete access point
